Hey friends,

I just thought I’d leave a short note to let you know I’ll be running on limited scheduling from now until April. If you have had a photo shoot recently—don’t worry; your photos are in the mail. If you have pre-booked a shoot between now and April—awesome sauce! Will be in touch shortly to discuss your shoot.

For all other inquiries, please use the contact page up top and I’ll do my best to get back to you in a reasonable timeframe.

This is Brian. We share a studio at work-work but he shoots video. Just testing out some concepts and thought I’d show you one of them. Sadly, the studio is far too narrow to achieve what I wanted but this shot ended up being cool regardless.

A photo of the year contest… with a twist

Hi there friends! First off I want to thank you all for making this year one of the best my humble little business has seen. So many new faces and fantastic photos! Thank you so so much!

This year rather than host a photo of the year contest where you vote on one of my photos, I’d like to switch things up. I want to see YOUR photos!

From now until December 21, post a photo on my facebook page that you have taken yourself. Have your friends, family and other group members like your photo. And on the 21st, the person with the most likes—and with a little critiquing from me—will win! But what will you win? That’s the best part…
Winners will have their choice of:

1) A one-hour photography session for themselves (value $225). The shoot must take place in Edmonton so if you’re from out of town; this is your prefect incentive for a road trip! Not to mention the giant Cabela’s that just opened up in Winderemere. Yay!

2) A one-hour photography lesson! You and I will bring our cameras to the nearest coffee shop and have a chit-chat as well as a hands-on photography lesson. Learn what all those buttons on your camera are, how to take great photos of your rambunctious kids, etc.

Winners don’t have to be from Edmonton, but the photography session and photography lesson must take place here… or St. Albert works too. Photos must have been taken by you. If you’re up for it, write a little caption when you submit your photo telling us what the photo is of and why you feel it is a great photo!

Let’s celebrate your creativity and show off your photos. I’m so excited to see what you submit!
