I’ve spent the last two weekends in Lake Louise for two separate corporate events. While the first event I didn’t get a chance to get out of the hotel, the second event I was able to tag along on one of the group tours to Moraine Lake. Moraine Lake was famously on the old $20 bill.

Apparently Lake Louise is prime location for grizzly bear sightings and at every tour there was some sort of bear orientation. You know, where they show you scary pictures and video of bears and tell you what to do if you come across one! NEVER EVER RUN! You’re supposed to puff yourself up, stand your ground and show the bear you are not scared and it will go away. I don’t know about you but I’d probably wet myself and then pass out. Good thing we didn’t see any bears! Just a couple of ground squirrels. lol
